Job Description: Sales Team Leader – Fasteners Location: Halesowen Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Recruitment Agency: Jobsworth Job Overview Jobsworth is currently recruiting for a motivated and experienced Sales Team Leader to join a well-established business specialising in fasteners and industrial supplies, based in Halesowen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong sales background and leadership skills to oversee a sales team, build customer relationships and drive business growth. Experience within the fasteners, fixings, engineering or industrial supplies sector would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales team, ensuring excellent customer service and helping the business achieve its sales targets. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and support the sales team to achieve sales targets and business objectives. Manage day-to-day sales activities, ensuring customer enquiries and orders are handled efficiently. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new sales opportunities. Provide product advice and support relating to fasteners, fixings and industrial supplies. Prepare quotations, process orders and follow up on outstanding enquiries. Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve results. Support the training and development of sales team members. Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally. Liaise with purchasing, warehouse and operations teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve customer retention. Candidate Requirements Previous experience in sales, ideally within fasteners, fixings, engineering, manufacturing or industrial supplies. Previous team leader, supervisory or sales management experience is desirable. Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills. A proven ability to work towards targets and deliver results. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Competent with computer systems, CRM software and Microsoft Office. A proactive, professional and commercially minded approach. The ability to motivate others and work effectively within a team. Pay and Working Hours Pay: £15.00 per hour.
