Practice Accountant
Location: Albrighton (WV7)
Salary: £30,000–£38,000 per annum (DOE)

Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential.

The Role
As a Practice Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Preparing management accounts and VAT returns.
- Completing corporation tax computations and self‑assessment tax returns.
- Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records using software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
- Managing and supporting a portfolio of clients.
- Building strong client relationships and providing professional advice.
- Responding to client queries and delivering excellent service.
- Supporting senior team members with ad‑hoc accounting assignments.
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in practice, takes pride in delivering high‑quality work and wants to continue developing their career.
You will ideally have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
- AAT qualification, ACA/ACCA part‑qualified status or equivalent experience.
- Experience preparing accounts for a range of business @types.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and tax requirements.
- Experience using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar accounting software.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
