We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Merchandiser to join a successful and growing retail fashion business at its Head Office based in the B24 area. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven merchandising professional to play a key role in maximising sales, profitability, and stock performance across multiple product categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering merchandising strategies in line with business objectives
- Managing stock levels, forecasting, and intake planning
- Analysing sales performance, market trends, and customer demand
- Working closely with Buying, Design, and Supply Chain teams
- Monitoring product performance and recommending actions to maximise profitability
- Managing markdowns, promotions, and seasonal stock planning
- Producing and presenting reports on sales, stock, and KPI performance
- Supporting and mentoring junior merchandising team members
- Ensuring stock availability while minimising excess inventory
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Senior Merchandiser, Merchandiser, or similar role within retail or fashion
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Experience with forecasting, stock planning, and inventory management
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
