Sales Representative

Location: Minworth, Sutton Coldfield

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Sales Representative to join a specialist metals supplier serving the aerospace industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing customer relationships and selling a range of products, including aluminium, titanium and steel.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and win new customers through cold calling and business development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices and secure sales.
• Process customer orders and respond to enquiries promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing and product availability.
• Promote new products and identify opportunities to increase sales.
• Assist with customer accounts and credit-related queries.
• Attend sales meetings and share market updates.
• Follow company health and safety procedures.

Skills and Experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in sales, negotiation and cold calling.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• A customer-focused and commercially minded approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous sales experience is desirable.
• Experience in metals, manufacturing or aerospace would be an advantage.
