Counterbalance FLT Driver

Location: Cradley Heath

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to provide holiday cover for a busy builders' merchant based in Cradley Heath. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience working in a builders' yard who is confident operating a forklift in a fast-paced environment and is available for an immediate start. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHIN A BUILDERS MERCHANT!

The Role

  • Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
  • Load and unload deliveries.
  • Move building materials around the yard.
  • Assist with stock organisation and general yard duties.
  • Carry out manual handling as required.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

Experience Required

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working in a builders' merchant or builders' yard is essential.
  • Confident operating an FLT in a busy outdoor environment.
  • Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
  • Available to start immediately for holiday cover.
