The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to provide holiday cover for a busy builders' merchant based in Cradley Heath. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience working in a builders' yard who is confident operating a forklift in a fast-paced environment and is available for an immediate start. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHIN A BUILDERS MERCHANT!
The Role
- Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
- Load and unload deliveries.
- Move building materials around the yard.
- Assist with stock organisation and general yard duties.
- Carry out manual handling as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
Experience Required
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a builders' merchant or builders' yard is essential.
- Confident operating an FLT in a busy outdoor environment.
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
- Available to start immediately for holiday cover.
