The Role
As a Tube Mill Operator, you'll be responsible for ensuring production runs smoothly while producing quality products to customer specifications.
Your duties will include
- Setting up and operating tube mill machinery.
- Monitoring production to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Producing welded steel tube products to strict quality standards.
- Carrying out dimensional and visual quality inspections.
- Making machine adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Recording production data and completing quality documentation.
- Identifying faults and reporting any mechanical or production issues.
- Working to production targets while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the production area.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating a
Tube Mill or similar steel processing machinery.
- Experience within a steel manufacturing, heavy engineering or production environment.
- Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and resolve minor production issues.
- Ability to work from production specifications and quality standards.
- Flexible to work a rotating three-shift pattern.
- Reliable, hardworking and committed to producing high-quality work.
