We are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work as part of a team operating heavy machinery and developing skills across multiple areas of production.
Ideal Skill Requirements:
- Slitter operation
- Roll mill / rolling mill experience
- Band saw operation
- Overhead crane operation
- Machine operating experience
- FLT experience (desirable)
Shift Pattern:
- 3-shift weekly rotation
- AM Shift: 06:00 – 14:00
- PM Shift: 14:00 – 22:00
- Night Shift: 22:00 – 06:00
Duties Include:
- Operating roll mill machinery within a team environment
- Working safely and efficiently in a manufacturing setting
- Developing skills in slitting, overhead crane operation, and FLT driving
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Working a rotating 3-shift pattern
Requirements:
- Previous factory or manufacturing experience essential
- Ability to work shift rotation
- Reliable, hands-on approach to work
