As we continue to grow, we are looking for team leaders to manage the growing team. Reporting to the Section Manager, the Production Team leader will lead the shift/team in order to deliver business objectives and targets to optimize company resources, within own area of responsibility.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures completion of tasks in an effective and efficient way according to agreed objectives, budget, procedures and specification; provides reporting as required.
- Creates and maintains a positive working environment through appropriate actions and behaviours.
- Resolves or/and escalates conflict and provides solutions and executes corrective actions.
- Supports and maintains CI initiatives.
- Carries out performance monitoring of team members on shift.
- Attends operational meetings as assigned.
- Communicates, engages and develops team members to enable them to maximise their contribution to the section's performance.
- Accountable for legal/ HACCP compliance across health and safety, food safety, security, and gate OPEX (in-house operational excellence programme).
- Contributes and manages within defined information systems and working procedures to ensure quality of product and service to the customer.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Ideally educated to a degree level but not essential
- Work Experience: Experience of working in a fast-paced environment leading a team. Previous shift/ Staff management experience ideally within food manufacturing sector. Minimum of 1 years relevant operational experience.
- Technical Skills: Food hygiene, security, H&S experience/qualification preferred. Awareness of aviation security preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Team management skills. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, advanced Excel desirable. Proactive and flexible attitude. Sound analytical & Problem-Solving Skills.
