Internally, this role will be known as Head of Topflight. Topflight is the name of our loyalty programme here at Mad Swans. Membership sales experience is essential for this role. You bring your expertise, enthusiasms, and curiosities; and we’ll provide you with a space to play.

This is a full-time permanent position based at Mad Swans in the Mendips (Bristol). Mad Swans is looking for a full-time Head of Topflight to join our budding team. You’ll be the first person to step into these shoes and shape this brand-new role.

What we do: We are experts in our field, committed to creating boundary-pushing social spaces that spark meaningful connections through play in nature. This summer, we’re opening our first countryside hangout for mavericks. The unruly. The friendship groups you wish you were in. The families you want to hang out with. For evenings that go on forever. And weekends that become folklore.

Social play spanning Padel Tennis, Pickleball, Darts, Shuffleboard and Golf gives guests the chance to explore one game or sample them all, across a few hours, a day, or a long weekend. We’re all about great food, which is why we’ve teamed up with experts in their field to create two distinct dining experiences and endless ways to enjoy them.

The key duties and responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Pro-actively sell the Mad Swans Topflight loyalty scheme and product to corporate businesses as well as individual guests
  • Achieving an ambitious sales revenue target and budget
  • Work closely with our Commercial Team to create an exciting and compelling deck in relation to the Mad Swans Topflight loyalty scheme and product
  • Map out a sales process for our Mad Swans Loyalty scheme and product
  • Identify who the right people are in each business before reaching out to them
  • Approach each business, present Topflight and create excitement around this new product
  • Create significant interest and multiple sales leads at pace
  • Showcase Mad Swans to corporate businesses and follow up promptly with sales leads and enquiries
  • Convert enquiries and sales leads to confirmed sales
  • Upsell sales and credit bundles where possible
  • Relationship management to secure further and ongoing sales
  • Attend relevant conferences and exhibitions to showcase both Mad Swans and Topflight
  • Drive further and future sales with corporate businesses
  • Update and maintain the CRM system
  • Monthly reporting and reconciliation
  • Liaising with the Finance Team to ensure payments are received in a timely manner
  • Internal and external client/customer entertainment, including events and taster sessions onsite

Who we’re looking for: We are looking for a Head of Topflight who is:

  • A proven and experienced sales manager, including membership and loyalty schemes
  • Experienced in delivering a sales target and budget in excess of £1 million/annum
  • Results driven and excited about launching and actively selling a new membership and loyalty scheme
  • Able to present a new product and loyalty scheme to the market very quickly
  • Comfortable working in a start-up business and environment
  • Highly successful at opening doors, engaging with potential corporate customers and creating strong sales leads
  • Excellent at establishing strong relationships with potential corporate customers
  • Efficient at following up with potential corporate customers
  • An excellent communicator and negotiator
  • Strong organisational skills and able to multi-task
  • Confident, outgoing and well-presented
  • Happy to be hands-on in a standalone sales role
  • Self-driven and highly motivated
  • Proactive, positive and resilient by nature

  • Comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment
