I am currently partnering with an incredible organic, artisan food manufacturer in North London to find a proactive, hands‑on Senior HR Advisor. This isn't your typical corporate HR role; it's a standalone position reporting directly to the Managing Director, offering you a seat at the table and the autonomy to truly "pave the way." My client is a leader in the craft food space, blending traditional methods with organic principles. They are growing, and they need a people‑expert who can balance the fast‑paced demands of a production site with a high‑empathy, culture‑first approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle and create a best‑in‑class induction and site‑tour experience.
  • Provide pragmatic advice to managers and coach them through ER casework with confidence.
  • Own the annual employee survey, lead appraisal processes, and spearhead recognition initiatives.
  • Work with the wider group to refine policies and ensure the site is compliant, modern, and efficient.

Qualifications

  • Must be CIPD Level 5 qualified (or currently studying toward completion).
  • Solid experience managing the 360‑degree HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Confident in providing pragmatic advice on disciplinary and grievance issues, ensuring all actions are in line with current UK employment law.
  • Experience within FMCG, Food Manufacturing, or a fast‑paced production environment is ideal.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and handle sensitive information with total discretion.

PLEASE NOTE - Candidates MUST have full unlimited working rights as this company does not offer sponsorship.
