Assess, identify, implement, coordinate and evaluate departmental nursing staffs’ continuing education, training and development plans to ensure provision of competent and quality patient care. Responsible for nursing staff induction, clinical education/training, in-service education, personal and professional growth. Collaborate with the nurse Managers/Clinicians and other health professionals on relevant staff development and in-service education. Assist in the preparation, review and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs) and clinical competency checklists for the department. Provides career counselling/coaching for all levels of nursing staffs’ professional development.
Requirement
- Diploma of Nursing or Degree in Nursing
- Post-basic Specialty Certificate in Nursing Education or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as a Senior Staff Nurse or Clinical Instructor
- Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
