What you'll be doing:
- Review HVAC system designs, plans, specifications, and tender requirements; participate in testing, commissioning, and operations.
- Implement enhancement works to selected clinics to improve energy efficiency.
- Identify improvement opportunities and standardise sustainable facilities practices.
- Lead ESG-focused facilities management initiatives.
- Assist in developing and implementing sustainability frameworks, strategies, and priorities.
- Champion behaviour change initiatives to foster a sustainable culture.
- Establish environmental goals in consultation with Senior Management.
- Collect and manage utilities data (energy, electricity, water, waste).
- Visualise sustainability roadmaps and track performance indicators.
- Lead GM compliance for all clinics, ensuring adherence to public agency regulations.
- Collaborate with vendors on sustainability initiatives.
- Support the Sustainability Committee across departments.
- Build partnerships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and NHG consultants for building performance reviews.
- Serve as the point of contact for the Sustainability Committee, including quarterly ES Scorecard submissions.
- Lead Reduce, Reuse, Recycle campaigns and sustainability outreach programmes.
- Contribute to innovation projects and essential improvement works.
- Support departmental strategic planning, including workplans, budgets, manpower, and people development.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor Degree level in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Environmental Science or related studies.
- 5 – 8 years of working experience in facilities management/ sustainability/ ESG roles, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and driving organisational sustainability initiatives.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, energy efficiency standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic sustainability frameworks and monitor KPIs.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership.
- Passion for ESG and driving long-term sustainable operational improvements across healthcare facilities.
