What you'll be doing:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of specialist outpatient clinics to ensure efficient patient flow, service delivery and operational continuity.
- Oversee manpower planning, staff deployment and rostering to optimise workforce utilisation and support clinical operations.
- Supervise and develop clinic operations staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Partner closely with clinicians, academic teams and corporate departments to support clinical services, teaching activities and operational priorities.
- Manage the procurement, commissioning, maintenance and lifecycle of medical equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational readiness.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders on equipment servicing, repairs, preventive maintenance and procurement activities.
- Monitor operational performance, patient feedback and service indicators, driving process improvements and service recovery initiatives.
- Support quality assurance, audit activities, incident management and compliance with healthcare regulations, organisational policies and governance standards.
- Coordinate the implementation and support of clinical systems, working with users and IT teams to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution.
- Support operational planning, budgeting, resource optimisation and departmental projects to improve service efficiency and patient outcomes.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor Degree in Healthcare Management/ Business Administration or related studies.
- 3 - 5 years of working experience leading healthcare operations within hospitals/ specialist outpatient clinics/ polyclinics or other clinical settings.
- Experience managing clinic operations, manpower planning, patient flow and multidisciplinary stakeholder coordination.
- Exposure to medical equipment management, vendor management, quality improvement or healthcare compliance will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and automation tools such as Excel, Power Query or Power Automate.
- Proactive, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
