Job Title:Store Operative
Location: Wokingham
Job type: Long term contract
Rate:£14-£15.50 per hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 07:00-16:00, Friday: 07:00-12:00
We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Stores Operative to join a well-established UK manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands‑on role, working as part of a busy team and keeping materials, stock and goods moving efficiently. The role of Stores Operative:
- Receiving and checking incoming goods and materials
- Kitting for production using bill of materials
- Picking and issuing parts and materials to production
- Packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch
- Maintaining accurate stock records and completing stock checks
- Logging and ensuring ERP is accurate
- Packing goods to be delivered to customers
- Keeping the stores and warehouse areas clean, safe and organised
The Stores Operative will have the following skills and experience:
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident dealing with stock, part numbers and documentation
- Previous Stores experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems
