The successful candidate will provide a high-quality, customer-focused people service across their designated areas, acting as a trusted partner to managers and confidently leading on a wide range of employee relations matters including attendance, performance, investigations, grievances, disciplinaries, restructures and TUPE activity.
They will build strong, professional relationships with managers and trade union representatives to support early resolution of issues, deliver consistent and compliant advice, and proactively identify risks and solutions. They will uplift managerial capability through coaching and training, contribute to workforce and succession planning conversations, maintain accurate ER records, develop people-related resources, and support the creation and implementation of policies that reflect organisational values and good practice. They will also analyse people data to inform decision-making, ensure fair and consistent application of pay and grading processes, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.
