Job title: Test Technician
Pay rate: £18.74 - £22.19 per hour PAYE Approx. £24.00 - £28.50 per hour Umbrella

Are you an experienced Test Technician looking to join an innovative engineering and manufacturing environment? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support the testing, fault finding, and validation of advanced products and systems.
Key Responsibilities of Test Technician:
- Setting up and conducting a variety of tests in line with specification requirements
- Operating environmental and test chambers
- Fault finding and diagnosing issues to component and system level
- Recording test data and producing detailed technical reports
- Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with quality management systems and procedures
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the test and engineering functions
- Working closely with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
The Test Technician should have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a Test Technician or similar engineering role
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience operating test equipment and environmental test chambers
- Ability to accurately document findings and produce technical reports
- Experience working within Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process enhancement
Desirable Experience for this Test Technician position:
- RF (Radio Frequency) testing experience
- Background within military, defence, aerospace, or avionics environments
