KS1 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant Duties:
- Support pupils across Key Stage 1 within the classroom
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Support literacy, numeracy, and phonics development
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Contribute to pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
- A minimum of one year's experience working within a school setting is essential
- Experience supporting children within Key Stage 1 is highly desirable
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, patient, and adaptable approach
- Ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
