SEND Teaching Assistant β Daily supply from as soon as possible

Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs across EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning plans
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
- Promote inclusive practice and encourage pupil independence
- Assist with personal care and mobility needs where required
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Monitor progress and contribute to pupil assessments and reviews
Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Has recent experience supporting children or young people with SEND in an educational setting
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of a range of learning needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
- Is patient, adaptable and confident working with pupils with complex needs
- Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Has a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
