Corporate Finance Manager needed in Rugby Paying Β£358.73 per day ref 1730504

Full time hours on a temporarybasis

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Lead the preparation and production of the annual Statement of Accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards and deadlines.
    • Act as the principal contact for External Audit, coordinating responses and resolving audit queries.
    • Manage and oversee all VAT matters, ensuring accurate submissions and compliance with HMRC requirements.
    • Prepare and submit Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) Returns where applicable.
    • Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations.
    • Oversee Accounts Payable functions and associated financial controls.
    • Manage Treasury Management, banking arrangements, investments, borrowing, and cash management activities.
    • Monitor and manage organisational Cash Flow requirements.
    • Prepare and submit Whole of Government Accounts (WGA) returns.
    • Complete and submit Delta Returns and any other required statutory reporting.
    • Provide technical accounting advice to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Support financial year-end processes and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and accounting standards.
    • Attend meetings across the county and provide financial expertise to support strategic decision-making.
    • Undertake any additional corporate finance activities required to ensure the effective operation of the finance function.
