Maintenance Engineer – Electrically Biased
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
We are currently recruiting for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established organisation within a busy engineering environment.

Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Support the smooth and efficient running of plant and machinery.
- Identify potential issues and implement preventative solutions.
- Complete maintenance records and relevant documentation.
- Work safely and in accordance with company procedures and statutory requirements.
- Assist with continuous improvement and engineering projects where required.
About You
- Apprenticeship trained in an engineering/electrical discipline.
- Strong electrical maintenance background.
- Ideally experienced within a manufacturing, production or similar industrial environment.
- Confident fault-finder with a practical, hands‑on approach.
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements.
