Refuse Loader - Maidstone
Location: Maidstone
Pay: £14.57 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am-4:00pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Overtime: Available
We are currently recruiting for Refuse Loaders to join a busy waste and recycling operation in Maidstone.
The Role
You will work as part of a refuse collection crew, helping to collect waste from residential and commercial properties.
Duties will include:
- Loading bins onto the refuse collection vehicle
- Working as part of a team with the driver and other loaders
- Collecting and emptying waste bins
- Following designated collection routes
- Working safely and following site procedures
- Maintaining good standards of health and safety
- Manual handling throughout the shift
Requirements
- Previous refuse/waste experience is preferred but not essential
- Physically fit due to the manual nature of the role
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good team-working skills
- Good understanding of health and safety
