Electrician – Social Housing & MOD Contract

£££ Competitive Rate 40 Hours Per Week Company Van Provided Minimum 4-Month Contract

We’re working with a powerhouse in the social housing maintenance sector who are looking for a skilled Electrician to join their team on a long-term maintenance contract. This will be for Edinburgh, Fife and the central belt.

This isn’t your typical domestic electrical role. You’ll be working across social housing properties and MOD sites, carrying out a mixture of planned and reactive electrical works. With a minimum 4-month contract, there’s plenty of work on offer for the right person.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carrying out EICRs and electrical remedial works

  • Kitchen and bathroom electrical installations

  • Fault finding and diagnosis

  • Repairs, maintenance and upgrades

  • Testing and certification

  • Working across social housing and MOD properties

  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an experienced electrician who can hit the ground running.

You’ll need:

  • Relevant electrical qualifications

  • Proven experience in social housing, maintenance or similar environments

  • Strong fault-finding skills

  • Experience completing EICRs

  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload

  • A professional approach when working in residents’ homes

  • The ability to pass the required MOD/security disclosure checks
