A friendly and welcoming primary school in Lewisham is looking for an experienced Year 5 Teacher to join their team from November 2026. This is a full-time, ongoing teaching position within a supportive school with a strong leadership team and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
The Role
As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for teaching and learning within your class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils of all abilities.
The schoolencouragesteachers to work closely together on planning, resources and assessments and you will collaborate with colleagues across Key Stage 2 to ensure consistency and progression in teaching and learning.
The class has a range of abilities, including some pupils with SEND and English as an Additional Language (EAL) and you will work closely with support staff to make sure each child receives the support they need.
The school is looking for an experienced teacher with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum who can plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapt teaching to meet individual needs and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
