Housing Officer needed in Croydon Paying Β£22.41 per hr ref 9784

Full time hours on a temporarybasis

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Manage a portfolio of residential properties and act as the main point of contact for tenants.
    • Deliver effective tenancy management services, including tenancy sign-ups, reviews, successions, assignments, and mutual exchanges.
    • Investigate and resolve breaches of tenancy agreements in accordance with policies and procedures.
    • Manage anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases, gathering evidence and working with relevant agencies to achieve successful outcomes.
    • Conduct tenancy audits, estate inspections, property visits, and neighbourhood walkabouts.
    • Support residents to sustain tenancies and access appropriate support services where required.
    • Respond to resident enquiries, complaints, safeguarding concerns, and housing-related issues.
    • Liaise with repairs, maintenance, legal, compliance, and community safety teams to resolve issues effectively.
    • Prepare case files, reports, witness statements, and supporting documentation for legal proceedings where necessary.
    • Monitor neighbourhood standards and address environmental concerns affecting residents.
    • Build positive relationships with residents, community groups, and partner organisations.
    • Maintain accurate records and case management information in line with data protection requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
    • Support service improvement initiatives and contribute to achieving performance targets.
