We're looking for an Operations Planner to join a busy manufacturing environment, working closely with production, purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and production schedules remain on track.
The Role
- Create and maintain production and operational schedules
- Coordinate orders through internal departments and suppliers
- Manage capacity and resource planning across multiple areas
- Prioritise urgent customer requirements and changing demands
- Monitor delivery commitments and proactively resolve scheduling issues
- Communicate progress, risks, and updates with key stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Experience within production planning, operations planning, scheduling, or manufacturing coordination
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
