Step Teachers are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a long-term maternity cover position in a welcoming primary school in North London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who can quickly establish positive relationships, maintain high standards in the classroom, and deliver engaging lessons that support pupil progress.
The Role
- Full classroom responsibility within a Year 5 class
- Planning, preparation and assessment responsibilities
- Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Monitoring and supporting pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with teaching colleagues and school leaders
We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to raising attainment and supporting every learner
- Confidence in planning and delivering high-quality lessons
