Multi Trader – Kitchens & Bathrooms

Salary: £22p/h Van & Fuel Card

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trader to join a well-established social housing and property maintenance contractor, delivering kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works across residential properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi Trader who is confident working across several trades and has previous experience delivering kitchen and bathroom installations or refurbishments.

The Role

As a Multi Trader, you will work as part of a planned refurbishment team, carrying out a variety of trade activities associated with kitchen and bathroom upgrades.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works.

• Basic plumbing associated with kitchen and bathroom installations.

• Carpentry and joinery works.

• Tiling to walls and floors.

• Plastering and making good.

• Painting and decorating.

• Installing and adjusting units, fixtures and fittings.

• Completing remedial and snagging works.

• Working alongside other trades to ensure refurbishment programmes are completed on time.

• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship across all aspects of the job.

• Working safely and in accordance with relevant health & safety procedures.

• Liaising professionally with residents and customers while working in occupied properties.

• Completing works efficiently and aiming for a high level of first-time completion.

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Multi Trader with a background in kitchen and bathroom refurbishment.

You should have experience in a combination of:

• Kitchen fitting/installation.

• Bathroom fitting/installation.

• Basic plumbing.

• Carpentry/joinery.

• Tiling.

• Plastering.

• Painting and decorating.

• General property maintenance.

Previous experience within social housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment or residential property maintenance would be highly advantageous.

You'll also need:

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

• A strong eye for detail and quality.

• A professional approach when working in customers' homes.

• A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
