MULTI TRADE OPERATIVE
Location: Croydon
Rate: £22 per hour CIS
Van & Fuel Card Provided
We are currently looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join our team carrying out reactive maintenance and repairs across social housing properties in the Croydon area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable tradesperson with experience working in occupied properties and completing a variety of maintenance tasks to a high standard.
Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification in a relevant trade
- Previous experience in reactive maintenance and social housing
- Multi-skilled experience across a range of trades
- Full UK Driving Licence required
The Role:
- Carrying out reactive repairs and general maintenance across occupied social housing properties
- Completing a variety of multi-trade works, including plumbing, carpentry, plastering, tiling and general property repairs
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out appropriate repairs to prevent repeat visits
- Responding to day-to-day maintenance issues and urgent repair requests
- Completing jobs efficiently and to a high standard within required timescales
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
- Liaising professionally with tenants, housing officers and other contractors
