Site Manager – Recladding
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a main contractor on a 12-month recladding project in Cardiff, commencing January 2027.
The project involves render and external façade works, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background delivering recladding / external refurbishment projects for a main contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of the site and site team
- Oversee render, recladding and associated façade works
- Manage subcontractors and labour on site
- Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards
- Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with RAMS
- Liaise with the Project Manager, client, subcontractors and wider project team
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality throughout the project
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor
- Strong recladding / external refurbishment / façade experience
- Previous experience managing render projects would be highly beneficial
- SMSTS
- CSCS Black Manager's Card
- First Aid
- Strong understanding of health & safety, quality and site management procedures
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
This role would particularly suit a Site Manager who has progressed through main contractor environments and has hands‑on experience delivering recladding or façade refurbishment projects.
