Anti-Social Behaviour Officer needed in Cambridge
This is a temporary role and the rate is £18.72ph PAYE

The successful candidate will take a proactive lead in tackling Anti‑Social Behaviour across the city, managing complex cases from initial report through to resolution. They will coordinate investigations with key partners such as the Police, housing providers and other agencies, ensuring all enquiries, complaints and serious neighbour nuisance issues are responded to promptly and professionally.
They will progress agreed interventions, including enforcement action where appropriate, while keeping senior colleagues fully updated on case developments. The role requires confident interviewing of members of the public, meticulous record‑keeping, preparation of robust case files and witness statements, and close liaison with legal teams to expedite actions. The successful candidate will also present cases in court when required, support legal representatives, and ensure witnesses are fully briefed and supported throughout proceedings, all while upholding information‑sharing protocols and legislative requirements.
