3D CAD Technician
Oldham Permanent On-site £30,000 - £35,000
We’re working with an established and growing engineering business that is looking for a talented 3D CAD Technician to join their team.
This is a hands‑on role with plenty of variety, working on 3D designs, assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings.
What you’ll be doing as a CAD Technician
- Creating 3D models and assemblies
- Producing manufacturing drawings
- Supporting new and existing product development
- Managing your own projects and deadlines
- Working closely with Engineering and Production teams
- Liaising with customers and engineers when required
- Occasional site visits
What we’re looking for in a CAD Technician
- Experience in 3D CAD / mechanical design
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Good attention to detail
- Practical, creative approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills
- A genuine interest in engineering and technology
The role
Permanent On‑site
Monday‑Thursday: 08:00–16:30
Friday: 08:00–15:30
