Jobstore are seeking a dedicated FM Porter for one of our clients in Ely. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organisation, and smooth operation of our premises and hold a valid DBS certificate. You will be working 17.00pm - 20.00pm 5 days a week on a rota, on a 3 month basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to a professional environment. The FM Porter will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our facilities, supporting both staff and visitors.
Duties:
- Assist with general porterage tasks including moving furniture, equipment, and supplies around the premises.
- Transfer patients in a safe and appropriate manner to and from the wards, theatres and departments via means of walking, wheelchair, stretcher and beds.
- Maintain cleanliness of communal areas, corridors, and service zones in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Support maintenance staff with basic tasks such as waste disposal and stock replenishment.
- Accept linen deliveries, check and store correctly in designated areas.
- Stamp linen as requested by the Domestic Services Manager.
- Prepare linen trolleys for delivery to all areas as per agreed stock levels.
