Jobstore are recruiting for a skilled Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our world-leading manufacturing client in Wythenshawe, Manchester. (Electrical bias needed) on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a team, responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and machinery across this clean and presentable manufacturing facility, ensuring production capacity is at 100%.
You will be required to:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including welding repairs where necessary, adhering to safety standards.
- Work on PLCs (Mitsubishi) to optimise machine performance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate maintenance tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and continuous improvement purposes.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times during maintenance operations.
- Carry out general FM building maintenance tasks as necessary.
