Our client based on Trafford Park is looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join their Night trunking team on a Temporary ongoing basis - Immediate starts available for those able.
Pay: £17 per hour
Working hours: 6:30pm - 6:30am Monday to Friday (Negotiable weekends)
About the Job:
- Conduct and complete deliveries / pick ups as scheduled by Operations
- Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure vehicle(s) road safety.
- Consistently liaise with Office team to ensure daily and accurate status reports
- Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code
- Complete all deliveries and collections as manifested
- Comply with all EU tachograph and WTD regulations
- Maintain all health and safety standards
- Ensure your vehicle is kept clean and tidy
Qualification and Skills:
- HGV C+E (Class 1) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and DQC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Able to maintain conversation with Customers
- General Administration
