Jobstore are seeking a dedicated DBS Domestic Healthcare Supervisor to provide high-quality cleaning to patients, staff, and visitors, maintaining a clean and safe environment in an efficient and safe manner in accordance with the specification. These duties may be carried out in both patient and non-patient environments working between two shift patterns Monday - Friday 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.

To provide direction, guidance, and support to ensure the necessary duties are carried out to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within the hospital and associated areas. You will perform these duties in a professional manner and strive to exceed customer expectations.

  • To ensure that all cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with NHS Cleaning standards or equivalent.
  • To ensure the provision of adequate personnel cover at all times in line with the contract specifications and budget.
  • To maintain all employee attendance records for holidays and sickness and ensure staff report for duty at the correct times and breaks are adhered to.
  • To authorise time sheets and any overtime worked in agreement with the Domestic Manager.
  • To apply quality control procedures to ensure that the standards of cleanliness comply with the contract requirements.
