Jobstore are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution warehouse team on the outskirts of Carlisle working 2:30am/3:30am to 9:30am/10:00am. We're looking for reliable, hardworking people who can commit to up to five shifts per week and offer some flexibility with their availability. The Role This is an active, hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You'll be working as part of a friendly team, helping to organise stock and load vehicles ready for deliveries to customers. Your duties will include: Loading and unloading delivery vehicles. Moving, stacking and racking heavy items safely. Organising stock and preparing orders for dispatch. Checking deliveries and completing the relevant paperwork. Helping to keep the warehouse organised and running smoothly. The work can be physically demanding and involves regular heavy lifting, so you'll need to be comfortable with manual work and working at a steady pace. What We're Looking For We're looking for people who are: Reliable, punctual and hardworking. Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work. Positive, proactive and willing to get stuck in. Good team players who can work well with others. Please note: Public transport links to the CA6 area are limited, so you'll need to make sure you have a reliable way of getting to and from work for the early morning starts. What's on Offer? Starting pay of £14.00 per hour. Up to five shifts per week, with some flexibility.
