Jobstore are seeking a dedicated Service Operator to join our clients team based in Swindon. This will be a demanding and challenging role based on a leading clients operation, working full time based on 40 hours over 5 days, typical working hours 6am until 2:30pm. Overtime available at time and a half.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for liaising with the customer, making regular collections, and being responsible for servicing and repairs of logistics equipment. We are looking for someone who must be physically fit, have a basic engineering understanding, great communication skills, and the ability to interact at all levels.
Some basic welding will be required but training will be provided if necessary. Previous experience in a technical and/or labour intensive role would be preferred although it is essential that you have a positive attitude and pro-active approach to work.
We want the right applicant to be able to take on a supervisor role within 3/4 months of placement here.
