Jobstore are recruiting for dedicated and reliable Site Support Operatives to join our clients retail team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the site by providing essential customer support across various functions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic retail environment, with responsibilities that contribute directly to the efficiency and safety of the operations. We are initially looking for Weekend Operatives to work shifts between 10.00am and 9.00pm and will be looking for weekday operatives within the next week. Please state your preference on your application.

Duties

  • Assist with general car park management and trolley retrieval.
  • Support site maintenance and organisation to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Support operational teams by preparing and distributing trolleys, cages and equipment as required.
  • Conduct routine inspections of site facilities and report any issues or hazards promptly.
  • Help with loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities undertaken and report on progress to supervisors.

Skills

  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and management.
  • Be physically fit and able to work on your feet all shift.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to site operations.
