Jobstore are recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor for a temporary position in Shifnal. This is a position covering afternoons 3.00pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Organise and motivate the team
- Schedule the staff rota, ensuring all shifts are covered to deliver effective cleans throughout the school.
Skills:
- Attention to detail: Ability to notice and address small details to ensure a thorough cleaning
- Time management: Efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames
- Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Communication skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions from supervisors
- Team Management: Ability to lead a team working collaboratively with other cleaners or staff members
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a cleaning supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good knowledge of health & safety in a cleaning environment
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- Excellent communication skills and previous leadership experience is essential for this position.
