Upholsterer in Rossendale

Jobstore are currently recruiting for an Upholsterer to join our high quality furniture restoration client based in Rossendale.
The successful candidate will have relevant, up-to-date upholstery experience, worked in the role previously and be able to work to the company's high standards. We are looking for applicants who want a long term permanent opportunity.
The position will require excellent attention to detail, the ability to work as part of a team.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8am till 4.30pm
Our client in Haslingden, Rossendale is looking to recruit a Furniture Upholsterer for a temp to perm role out of their manufacturing and distribution site
Typical duties;
Upholstering various items including seat boards, stools, sofas and tub chairs
Using materials including foam, fabric, faux leather and real leather
Checking work orders to determine amount of material needed
Following drawings and designs
Measure and cutting of materials
The working times and pay:
Monday to Friday
08:00-16:30
40 hours per week after breaks
£13.00 - £14.00 p/h dependant on experience
Overtime after 40 hours at x 1.25 in the week and x 1.5 at the weekends
12 week temp to perm for the right candidate
Skills/Experience Needed:
Previous Upholstery experience needed
Ability to read designs, operate cutting tools and measure materials
