Jobstore is currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers for our well-established client in the Bury area. This is a fantastic opportunity offering competitive rates of Β£14.50 per hour, with time-and-a-quarter overtime after 40 hours and excellent potential for career progression. You will be working Monday β Friday, delivering across the North West region. Day to Day Duties Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to: Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Pick and pack items from the vehicle and handball goods on customer site Unloading and sorting orders onsite Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Fork lift experience an advantage Duties will involve some tail lift deliveries Essential Skills As a Class 2 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Class 2 Licence No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles Previous experience with multi drop deliveries Previous warehouse/picking experience beneficial Positive work ethic and good customer service Max 6 minor points (for insurance) If this is something that you would be interested in, then click apply and one our team will call to discuss your application.
