Jobstore are currently looking for an experienced furniture upholsterer for one of our prestigious clients working 07.30-16.30 Monday - Friday in Preston.
You will be required to upholster and prepare furniture in-line with customer and product specifications, ensuring the furniture is finished to high standards and manufactured ready for the following stage of manufacture and/or packing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Upholster furniture to customer and product/design specification
- Carry out quality control checks upon your own work
- Work well individually or as part of a team
- Follow instructions and workload issued by the manager
- You may be required to work in alternative areas of the factory as demand fluctuates
- Report any damages or scrap
- Carry out Stock Control Checks as and when required
- Keep a clean, tidy and organised work environment at all times
- Keep tools and equipment in good working order
