Jobstore is recruiting a Catering Assistant who holds a current DBS check and a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate to be based on one of our client's sites in Barrow-in-Furness. Ongoing work is available, working 14.00 to 17.00 pm Monday to Friday. A current/recent DBS certificate is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out a range of catering and cleaning activities, including prepping food and serving customers, mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, and cleaning the kitchen area.
- Ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards and food hygiene levels at all times.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.
Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative while being part of a team.
- To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work.
- Enhanced DBS check clearance essential for this position.
