For our client, a leading logistics and transportation company in the United Kingdom, we are looking for experienced and reliable HGV Drivers to join their growing transport operations team.

Salary Range: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum + Overtime & Night Allowance (depending on experience and licence category)

Location: United Kingdom | On-site (regional and national delivery routes)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Transport goods to warehouses, distribution centres, and customer locations
  • Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects
  • Ensure loads are correctly secured and comply with transport safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and tachograph records
  • Adhere to UK driving laws, Driver Hours regulations, and Working Time Directive
  • Follow company health and safety procedures at all times
  • Provide professional service when interacting with clients and delivery sites
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic operational upkeep

Your Qualifications:

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) driving license
  • Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous HGV driving experience preferred
  • Good knowledge of UK road networks and logistics operations
  • Strong awareness of safety and compliance regulations
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends if required
  • Reliable, professional attitude with good communication skills
