This position is not remote. We have multiple onsite locations across the United Kingdom for our client, a leading educational institution in the UK.
Salary Range: £40,000 – £80,000 per annum + Performance Bonus – Depending on experience
Location: United Kingdom (Multiple Locations) — On Site / Hybrid (depending on school policy)
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum and school objectives.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports student development.
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress using formative and summative assessment methods.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively while promoting respect, safety, and high expectations.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, SEN specialists, and other staff to support individual student needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, attendance, and behaviour.
- Participate in school meetings, training, extracurricular activities, and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain accurate records, lesson plans, and required documentation in line with school and regulatory standards.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or appropriate UK teaching certification (e.g., PGCE + QTS, SCITT, Teach First).
- Previous experience teaching in a UK school.
- Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum and effective classroom management strategies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and support pupils from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding, child protection, and promoting the welfare of young people.
