For our client, a leading logistics and transportation company in the United Kingdom, we are looking for experienced and reliable HGV Drivers to join their growing transport operations team.
Salary Range: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum + Overtime & Night Allowance (depending on experience and licence category)
Location: United Kingdom | On-site (regional and national delivery routes)
Your Responsibilities:
- Operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) vehicles safely and efficiently
- Transport goods to warehouses, distribution centres, and customer locations
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects
- Ensure loads are correctly secured and comply with transport safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and tachograph records
- Adhere to UK driving laws, Driver Hours regulations, and Working Time Directive
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times
- Provide professional service when interacting with clients and delivery sites
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic operational upkeep
Your Qualifications:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) driving license
- Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of UK road networks and logistics operations
- Strong awareness of safety and compliance regulations
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends if required
