Overview
You will be joining a leading organisation delivering an 8-year Maintenance & Response contract with National Highways. The Area Schemes Team plays a vital role in maintaining and improving the highways network, delivering small to medium schemes that enhance safety and efficiency across the region.
Your new role
As a Delivery Manager, you will work under the guidance of the Senior Delivery Manager to oversee the safe and effective delivery of a portfolio of schemes. You will manage resources, programmes, and supply chain partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe and effective delivery of a portfolio of schemes under the guidance of the Senior Delivery Manager.
- Manage resources, programmes and supply chain partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards of safety and quality.
Qualifications
- Excellent understanding of CDM regulations, health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Proven experience managing schemes through to completion.
- Strong knowledge of resource and programme management.
- Ability to analyse problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial and contractual awareness, particularly with NEC contract principles.
- Industry qualification: SMSTS.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint systems.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
