A developer of electrical vehicles whose mission is to bring real engagement and emotion to driving electric performance cars is currently hiring a Build Technician. The successful candidate will require confidence in reading and interpreting assembly drawings, using hand tools, and executing high-quality builds to tight tolerances.
Responsibilities
- Follow written build instructions, engineering drawings, and SOPs to complete high-quality builds.
- Use handheld tools, fixtures, and provided equipment to perform sub-assembly and full vehicle assembly tasks.
- Ensure parts traceability and adherence to quality standards.
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and composite components using supplied kits and assembly drawings.
- Raise issues when drawings or processes are unclear or when assistance is needed - collaboration is key.
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience in vehicle builds, sub-assembly, or component assembly, mechanical and/or electrical.
- Ability to work independently and follow technical drawings and instructions accurately.
- Confidence to ask questions and seek support when required.
- Familiarity with the 5S principles.
- Understanding of torque specs, quality checks, and build traceability systems.
