TCS is a leading provider of IT services and solutions. As a MES consultant, you will be supporting one of the leading automotive customers as part of the BAU IT team. You will be working on manufacturing applications such as the Manufacturing Execution System, configuring and deploying shop floor devices like scanners, etc.
Responsibilities
- Development and configuring .NET based applications
- Support and investigation of issues reported at line side
- Configuration and troubleshooting of shop floor devices
- Supporting end users at line side when issues are reported
- Participate in team discussions for service improvements
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience
- Microsoft .NET – VB.Net, C#.Net
- Microsoft Excel - VBA, Writing Macros
- Basic RDBMS skills (Mainly SQL Server – Writing SQL queries, stored procedures etc.)
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Basic computer hardware knowledge
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server
- Analytical, reasoning and basic troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge on Manufacturing Shop Floor Devices like Printers, Scanners, etc.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience
- Support and configuration of Barcode printers, smart devices like tablets
- Knowledge of Manufacturing domain
- Good verbal & written communication (English)
- Team skills (Cross Functional & Cross Cultural)
- Creative and open to innovate
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Pro-active and self-driven
