This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical‑biased technician to join a prominent aerospace engineering business in the Wolverhampton area.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test a mix of complex mechanical systems in the repair section or new product build area.
- Find and test faults of complex hydraulic products.
- Read engineering drawings.
- Complete Quality Audits.
- Build new and repair complex hydraulic products.
- Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers and height gauges to inspect component parts.
Background / Qualifications:
- Apprentice trained (or equivalent level of qualification) ideally within Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience within a complex engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Competent at reading and following different set procedures.
- Competency with a range of assembly tools.
- Hydraulic testing experience.
